realizing my words can be
twisted and misunderstood
i set out to do something
new and something out of the way;
standing in the balcony,
watching the people scamper in
to the shopping mall,
i grew restless and tired;
twenty three days in june
the heat
and the cloudless sky,
summer sun shining brightly;
biting into the cold watermelon,
i stood watching the wave of human blobs
appearing and disappearing
like a firefly in the night sky;
as the clown with the big red nose
came near the kid with the icecream cone,
the giggles and smile
resonated through out the place;
seeking answers to questions,
gathering my thoughts,
i sat down to enjoy the cold watermelon
and concluded my research on life;
i have done the research,
here’s what i deduce,
it seems i have no inspiration,
yet, i find something from nothing,
and nothing is what i have done,;
on a sunny june afternoon,
the glass of cold watermelon juice
i had in my hand is now empty
and i slowly make my way back
and continue what i was doing – nothing;
