the sun is slowly fading away, no matter how much we pretend, the day has just come to a close and it's time for me to take you home;
I waited until the darkness, until the moonlight shined on your face, showcasing your beautiful self, reflecting your gorgeous beauty;
like a flower waiting to bloom, like a child standing outside an ice cream parlor, i have been waiting here, sitting just for you, and now the time has come;
no matter how much i pretend, as the darkness creeps in all around us, your smile shines a light on my life, and i can't stop thinking of how much you mean to me;
when you are in my arms, as i hold you tight, and all my fears disappear, the moment you whisper those sweet words;
I don't know why I waited so long, I don't remember the times I spent searching, I thought happiness is something that you had to find, I thought happiness was something that came and went like a rain cloud;
All that changed when i found you, the day we met & the day we spoke, I knew i found my happiness, and I hoped this isn't just a dream;
As the moonlight shines brightly in the dark night, and your beautiful self makes my heart skip a beat, i realized that happiness was just waiting for me to find you, and happiness is just you and me together in each other's arms;
