i have been travelling
for a long time
from a faraway land
that was once my home
travelling through many places
travelling with many people
its been an eventful journey so far
a lesson a day
everyday of the journey
from a pauper to a prince
everyday
to a pauper again the next day
every day, different places
different lessons
but the same result
a pauper to a prince
everyday
crashing into things small
and big
my journey has now come to the “end”
now standing on the twilight
i pause
i pause
looking at where my path has led me to
i now stand on the edge
the journey is almost over
now i stand on here on the edge
and i still havent found what i am looking for
many a days
many a months
has come and gone
now standing on the edge
i still havent found what i am looking for
i still havent found
my life

Note:
Title inspired by the song “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” by U2
image taken from the internet.
not a pessimistic poem in any way.
at times in life, we all want a “lonely” spot to sit down and reflect on things, reflect on life.
typically, for many, the spot happens to be a seashore.
edge = seashore. the moment when u actually sit down and think what the hell is happening to your life.
edge also means the end of one chapter and the starting of another one.
twilight = that confused state of mind.
