a flutter in my heart
happiness like never before
thats what i feel when i see you!

one smile in your face
wipes away the frown on my face
heart beating once alone
now finds home in the arms of a special someone

as i wind along the roads
travelling like a man on a mission
leaving behind the empty and sad faces
that line up after a hard day’s work

passion beating deep down inside
and i pictured you waiting patiently
for us to walk down the sands of time
together, with love lighting our path;

as my thoughts gather momentum,
the urge to break down the barrier
that i built around myself
grows stronger and stronger!

with my resolve slowly breaking down,
under the spell that my heart has found itself in
a confused mind smiles in the twilight
dreaming of a life in the darkness!
